What does the profession of demonstrator consist of?
Present and promote
Often employed by a specialized agency, the demonstrator promotes products at the point of sale: supermarkets, exhibitions, fairs, markets and other places of passage.
Earthy character or distinguished hostess, the demonstrator masters his argument. The customer becomes public: demonstrations, tests or tastings are part of the animation.
Note: the company that hires the demonstrator often imposes a specific outfit.
A full day
A demonstrator’s day begins with taking possession of the stock of products for sale. He must then set up the demonstration area, present the products and answer customer questions. At the end of its mission, the demonstrator counts the stocks, submits an animation report and returns its equipment.

No course necessary
Accessing this profession does not require any particular course. Experience in animation or in contact with customers is nevertheless a significant asset.
Generally, the employer provides training for a maximum of one day so that the demonstrator appropriates the sales pitch and becomes familiar with the products or services that he will have to sell.
Remuneration of the job
Employment contracts in this profession are often short-term (1 to 3 days). The fixed remuneration is calculated per day of animation. It is sometimes embellished with bonuses on objectives.
