Auto-entrepreneur status
The auto-entrepreneur status is an aid for the creation of a business. It allows you to create an independent activity in a simplified way:
The status of auto-entrepreneur allows you to exercise a commercial or craft activity.
After submitting your declaration, you will receive your SIRET registration number assigned by INSEE.
Note: for his pension plan, a self-employed person must depend on the Interprofessional Provident and Insurance Fund (CIPAV) or the Social Regime for the Self-Employed (RSI). The Business Formality Center (CFE) takes care of the registration.
Conditions and your turnover
Your annual turnover must not exceed:
- €81,500 excluding tax for a purchase/resale activity, sale to be consumed on site and provision of accommodation;
- €32,600 excluding tax for services.
Declarations of charges
Then choose the method of declaring your expenses. If you choose to pay your charges and taxes quarterly, they are calculated based on your turnover. If you don’t make a turnover, you don’t pay taxes or charges.
You can also opt for a discharge payment of income tax, which exempts you from business tax for the first 3 years and allows you to pay everything at the same time.
Keep a journal of your services, keep your invoices and log on (each month or each quarter) to Lautoentrepreneur.fr to pay your contributions.
