How to benefit from it?
The young person wishing for a job with a future must approach a professional in the integration of young people, who can be a referent:
– Employment center,
– a local mission,
– Cap emploi network for those who are disabled.
If the young person corresponds well to the criteria for the job of the future, his application is then presented to employers offering work related to his profile.
The work contract
Future employment is a private law contract.
It is concluded for a fixed term (CDD) or for an indefinite term CDI).
When the contract is concluded for a fixed term, its duration is at least one year and at most, renewals and extensions included, of three years.
Almost any type of employer can sign a future job with a young person, except for the state and an individual.
The employer may in particular be an association, a local authority (for example, a town hall) or a public institution (for example, a hospital), a company recognized by the regional prefect as having significant job creation potential, a structure for integration through economic activity, a group of employers.
Attention : if the employer is public, the job of the future is necessarily a CDD.
The working time corresponds to:
– at least at 5.30 p.m. per week,
– a maximum of 35 hours per week.
L’emploi d’avenir does not require the employee to be paid a precariousness allowance at the end of the fixed-term contract not followed by hiring on a permanent contract.
This is not an employment contract like the others
For a period of up to three years (on average two years), the employment of the future has several particularities.
During his salaried activity, the young person in employment for the future is followed by a local mission referent or a Cap emploi referent and by a tutor chosen from among the employees or managers of the employing structure.
The reciprocal commitments of each are mentioned in the application form for financial assistance. This form (printed Cerfa n° 14830*02) is signed by all those who take part in the scheme: the young employee, the employer and the local mission or Cap emploi referent.
To note : if his contract is a CDD, the young person in future employment can break it on each of his anniversary dates, by notifying his employer at least two weeks before.
Financial aid
The employer receives financial assistance from the public authorities:
– 75% of the gross minimum wage, if it belongs to the non-market, public or associative sector (i.e. €1,093.14 for a full-time worker),
– 47% of the gross minimum wage, if it belongs to the integration through economic activity sector (i.e. €685.03 for a full-time job),
– 35% of the gross minimum wage, if it belongs to the commercial, industrial or commercial sector (i.e. €510.13 for full-time).
The employer in the non-profit sector is also exempt from certain taxes or social security contributions.
Training
The young person is placed in the capacity to carry out a training course allowing them to acquire professional skills.
At the end of the job for the future, this training course takes the form of:
– certificate of training or professional experience,
– recognized professional certification,
– validation of acquired experience (VAE).
