Summary
Work from home
This formula is the best known. It applies to employees who have a contract with their company, in which the terms of work, the number of hours to be worked, etc. are set. Self-employed non-salaried workers are therefore not included in the count of teleworkers.
Working from home has many advantages, particularly in terms of stress reduction and quality of life. However, social life can be affected: the homeworker finds himself, in fact, isolated from his office colleagues. A situation sometimes badly experienced by employees.
nomadic workers
Some employees are required to work from different places: in the company, at home, with customers, on the move, etc. This is the case of salespeople, certain consultants and more and more executives, led to nomadism by means of new communication technologies. This type of telework allows a great reactivity, reduces travel and thus saves time, transport costs and space.
Work from a telecentre
Working outside your company but close to home and benefiting from the most modern office equipment, meeting rooms or videoconferencing services is possible in a telecentre. These flexible spaces, which can be used à la carte, are shared between teleworkers, business creators, freelancers, salespeople, etc.
Coworking spaces
Shared workspaces, coworking places are used by business creators, freelancers and VSEs, who wish to approach work in a collaborative way. The equipment and services are similar to those of telecentres, but the spaces available are generally smaller.
