1500 different financial aids in France
Did you know that there are approximately 1500 public financial aids in France? They are local, departmental, regional or national, and some are not even subject to means testing. For lack of knowledge, or administrative phobia, the French do not claim them all and the sums corresponding to these unused aids are estimated at several billion.
We contacted 4 sites positioned on this aid “market” in search of financial aid. Of course, the first question we asked them was: whether executives are eligible for this aid. The question is legitimate knowing that their median salary, fixed + variable, amounts to €51,000 gross per year (source: Apec). This means that half of the executives earn more and the other half less. Some even much less since around 7% of them earn less than €35,000/year, the average salary of French employees.
The managers interviewed confirm that some executives use their sites with the aim of improving their purchasing power.

Wizbii Money: dedicated primarily to young people
The purpose of this application is to introduce, via a financial aid search engine, to a specific population, rather 16-30 year olds, the various types of aid (the site has 500 listed aids) to which they are entitled. This is the 1st level. It’s free. This represents 99.5% of uses.
Then, 2nd floor, against 4% of the amounts recovered with a ceiling of 9 euros per month, the app supports Internet users in obtaining aid.
“It can be subsidies to finance an international departure, support for professional mobility, aid for entry into working life for young executives”, explains Romain Gentil, the co-founder of Wizbii.

To benefit from this service, the Internet user goes to the site, creates an account (free) and fills out an eligibility form with name, address, income, composition of the family, financial situation and current projects (departure from abroad, moving, obtaining a driving licence, etc.). This part completed, the future beneficiary receives the list of aid to which he is entitled, the paying agencies and the amounts for which he is eligible.
Finally, it should be noted that Wizbii Money offers its white label search engine, against remuneration, to companies (BNP, Société Générale, etc.) or local authorities such as the city of Pau so that the latter offer this service to their customers or to their administered.

This site also offers a search engine for some 1,500 aids, including between a third and a half concerns executives. But its particularity is to offer this to employers or associations that offer them, then to their employees. For the latter, using it is then free.
This is the case of the “Maison et services” company, a network of franchisees providing assistance to individuals with 4,000 employees, including 200 managers.
“Employees know little about the aid to which they are entitled, ccomments Anne-Laure Deniau, the director of Maison et services, in the test phase for 1,000 of her employees. We offered them this app to improve their purchasing power.

They were able to carry out a simulation of aid. My colleague, a manager, was thus able to obtain aid of 300 euros to finance her return to school in September 2022. It is interesting, especially since, for us, the employer, it costs between 13 and 15 euros per year and per user. . And that this also plays on a better commitment of our teams, on their confidence in their employer and on the improvement of their work-life balance”.
On average, a household misses out on 1300 euros per year.
Cyprien Boutard-Geze, founding president of Klaro
“The help is numerous, calculates Cyprien Boutard-Geze, the founding president of Klaro. On average, a household misses out on 1300 euros per year. This also affects executives who are the first to carry out insulation work, to send their children to study abroad, to buy bicycles or electric cars. They have the means to embark on virtuous projects supported by public authorities. Nor do they read their collective agreements or their mutual insurance contracts, their financing of baby sitting…”.
Klaro also offers employees of entities such as BPI, Dell, BNP Paribas, Royal Canin, Université Paris-Saclay or Roche who have purchased this service individual assistance by completing and sending the forms on behalf of the employee. This can go as far as letters of complaint if the system blocks.
Finally, it should be noted that Klaro, founded in 2020, plans to hire around twenty employees, half of whom are executives in the coming months.
