What is professional disintegration?
It is a process that prevents the employee from returning to work after a long work stoppage and puts him at risk of affecting his ability to hold his job again. Some experts speak of “professional endangerment”. This process covers a wide variety of situations. It can be triggered following a work stoppage for accident, illness, burn-out, stress, etc. But it can also be explained by professional burnout, conflicts at work that you don’t want to find when you return to work, a difficult job change, etc. This risk can affect anyone because it is not a matter of weakness of the person but of imbalance in life.

Who is affected by the risks of occupational disintegration?
All employees with a health problem or a disability who face professional difficulties. So potentially one to two million French employees, according to IGAS. The General Inspectorate of Social Affairs considers that they are, in the short or medium term, exposed to the risk of losing their job and not finding another one easily.
5 new devices to prevent occupational disintegration
1- Liaison meeting
A bonding meeting with your employer can be organized during your work stoppage (more than one month). And this, in the presence of the occupational health and prevention department and, if the employee so requests, the disability referent. This is not a medical appointment.
Goal ? Prepare, if you wish, your return to the company and inform you of the support measures that can be mobilized.
2- Early pre-recovery medical visit
An early pre-recovery medical visit possible from one month off.
Goal ? Depending on your state of health, the occupational physician may suggest measures to adapt your position.
3- Eligibility for the expanded CRPE
An extension of eligibility for the Professional Rehabilitation Agreement (CRPE). Until now reserved for disabled workers, if you are deemed an employee unfit or at risk by an occupational doctor, you will be able to benefit from a CRPE.
Goal ? Allow you to take training (maximum 18 months) in a new profession within your company or externally, while keeping your employment contract and your salary.
4- Supervised trial from another position
A supervised essay during your work stoppage. It cannot exceed 14 working days, renewable once.
Goal ? Allow you to assess within your company or in another, the compatibility of a workstation with your state of health.
5- Medical visit at age 45
A mid-career medical visit is scheduled for your 45th birthday. That’s a gift!
