Know how to precisely identify your request

The first step in finding a training organization should be a deep reflection on your ambitions and your expectations. Indeed, it is not a question of choosing the “best” training organization, but rather the one which is the most in line with your professional project.

  • the duration training: a few weeks or several months?
  • the weather training: full-time, half time, night classes ?

Once you have answered these various questions and you are better targeting the training that suits you, it is time to contact the various organizations to find out about the programs offered.

Identify the strengths of each organization

Undertaking training is a important step in a professional career. To make the right choice, it is essential to gather as much information as possible on each training organization. Here are some ways to achieve this:

  • Get it brochure of the establishment (generally, it suffices to request it by simple letter or by email);
  • do some research on internet forums to see the reputation of the training courses envisaged;
  • Find out about some trainers whose names you have: are they recognized specialists in their field?
  • Determine the general fame of the establishment by contacting recruiters or professionals in the sector;
  • Finally, ask for a visit of the premises to verify that the conditions described in the descriptions are not overvalued.

Depending on these different elements, you should be able to choose a serious and professional training organization.

Finally, know that the best training organizations have the ISQ certification (qualification body for intellectual services). This label is awarded according to several criteria:

  • compliance with regulations and a code of ethics;
  • the concordance between the training offered and the means implemented;
  • the feelings of former customers;
  • financial sustainability.

Approximately 900 organizations have this certification in France.

Our tips:

To be sure of making the right choice, you can contact students who are currently taking the training you want and ask them for information. It is also advisable to inquire with the human resources departments of your branch of activity to find out which training courses are most in demand.
