To find a job in England, many French students choose the VIE – International Volunteering in Business. The principle is simple: you consult the Ubifrance site for job offers relating to VIEs in England. You can apply directly on the civiweb site, with your CV and a cover letter written in English.
With a VIE in England, you will work in the British subsidiary of a French company, under a public law contract with the Ubifrance agency. Your contract, lasting from 6 to 24 months (renewable once), will entitle you to a lump sum indemnity of an amount including between €1,200 and €3,200 per monthplus payment of your travel and baggage transport costs (up to 150 kg).
Become an au pair or young man
If you are a student and have a first experience in childcare, you can easily become an au pair or young man for an English family. The principle is simple: you are housed, fed, whitened by an English family, and in exchange, you take care of their young children.
