What is DCG?
The DCG is an accounting and management diploma issued by the ministry in charge of higher education and research.
It provides training in fundamental disciplines accounting professions.
How to access it?
The DCG is accessible After the baccalaureate or after an equivalent diploma or on eBike (validation of acquired experience).
The duration of the training is 3 years and obtaining the diploma confers the bachelor’s degree.
It is possible to take a DCG as part of initial training, contained training, work-study or distance learning.
Training content
The DCG has more of a dozen teaching units (Teaching unit) in the fields of introduction to law, company law, social law, tax law, economics, corporate finance, management, information systems management, introduction to accounting, advanced accounting, management control, English applied to business and professional relations.
Applicants must complete a 8 week internship in an accounting firm or in the accounting and financial services of a company, a public authority or an association. They will then have to produce an internship report and develop a subject related to the missions carried out.
Career opportunities
The DCG aims for professional integration at an intermediate management level in a company or practice. It is also possible to pursue studies towards a DSCG / DSGC (Higher Diploma in Management/Accounting).

This training is offered by the Intec Pays de la Loire, by the National Institute of Economic and Accounting Techniques, by the Center of Angers and by the Center of La Roche/Yon.
Otherwise, there are distance training courses such as the EFC, a private organization specializing in teaching accounting, management, law and secretarial skills, accessible with or without the Baccalaureate.
