Indeed, this revaluation concerns 2.1 million people, i.e. 95% of job seekers compensated. 5% are therefore excluded. “An unemployment insurance recipient who has been receiving compensation for less than 6 months is not affected by the revaluation, regardless of the amount of his allowance”, we specify to Unedic.

Because examples are worth more than long speeches, Cadremploi asked Unedic to quantify two practical cases of upgrading.
Case 1
Profile: a manager, registered for more than 6 months, who received €2,400 gross monthly unemployment benefit before July 1.
🟢 From July 1st, his return to work allowance increases to € 2470 gross per month.
Case 2
Profile: an executive who received a gross monthly allowance of €5,000 before his 6th month of compensation. With the system of decreasing unemployment benefits, after his 6th month of compensation, he received 3500 € gross before July 1st.
🟢 From July 1st, his return to work allowance increases to €3,601.50 gross per month.
