Mohamed Benhalima, 32 years old: converted thanks to the “resigning for business creation” scheme* from sales engineer to entrepreneur
It took them a little time to process my file but in the end, we succeeded.
Mohamed Benhalima, co-founder of Lunaar (Louvres, Val d’Oise)
His journey : after a master’s degree specializing in entrepreneurship, Mohamed Benhalima decided to go first through the wage earner box. So here he is as a sales engineer in a start-up, then at Engie and finally at SNEF.
The click: “After several years as an employee, I wanted more autonomy and freedom in my decisions. By dint of doing the same thing every day, we get bored. I wanted to boost my intellect. With a colleague, we therefore decided to turn the page on the workforce to create Lunaar, our project management assistance company in the building and technical installations »he says willingly.
His conversion method: Mohamed Benhalima decides to mobilize the “resigning” device (see below) otherwise called “resignation for professional project” which will allow him to leave with a safety net, since he will be able to receive unemployment insurance until his project works. To comply with all the conditions of the system, he must, prior to his resignation, be accompanied by a “Professional Development Council”. He chooses Apec (which is one of the approved organizations) and in February 2022, he defends his conversion project for the creation of a company including the business model of his future company, the business plan and the financial plan. His file is validated and transferred to Transitions Pro Ile-de-France, the organization financing the professional retraining of private sector employees. “This organization had 3 months to analyze my file. I finally got their green light at the end of April 2022. On May 1, I therefore submitted my resignation to my employer. I left the company on August 1st.he summarizes. For him, everything was fluid and quite simple to implement, no doubt thanks to his specialized master’s degree in entrepreneurship, which enabled him to quickly establish a solid business plan.
