Leave for parents whose children suffer from chronic illness or cancer
Eighteen months after the adoption of the law, a decree was finally published in the Official Journal specifying the list of chronic illnesses which give parents the right to request specific leave of at least two days. This allows fathers and mothers to take care of their children, without losing salary or having to dip into their balance of paid leave.
Professional equality index: how is it with others?
On March 8 (the famous one), the government unveiled the 2023 results of the index for professional equality between women and men. The results are rather encouraging, but more than 1,200 companies with fewer than 50 employees still appear to be dunces on the subject.
